My Story

I am a coach because I love supporting people. I am a founder coach because I understand the journey and the pain. I am a co-founder coach because it is wildly needed, messy as hell, and when its not going well, it takes over your life.

While running ShareRoot we hit a moment in the midst of acquiring our second company (on paper it looked pretty good), but I had veered off course over the subsequent quarters so much that it didn’t matter how well the acquisition went or whether we hit our revenue targets.

I had built up nearly two years of compounding decisions and actions that did not align with what mattered to me and the type of team I wanted to support and empower, that burnout was in full force and my departure was quickly imminent.

In short, I burnt-out as a co-founder / public company CEO as I drifted further and further away from supporting people which is what I am on this planet to do.

The biggest barrier I overcame was removing the shackles of what I thought I should do based on the influence of society and my family of origin (make a lot of money, prove your value publicly, win, win, win).

As a result of my experience, I switched to supporting founders to avoid the same mistakes.
